Our staff will be your host during your stay and will make you feel at home with us. Marina de Horne is situated in one of the most beautiful and central spots of Friesland. Directly on the Princess Margriet Canal, so you can literally go in any direction. Around the corner are the Sneekermeer, the Terhernster pools (known from the boy’s book ‘de Kameleon’), but also all other Frisian lakes with their cozy Frisian cities such as Sneek, Leeuwarden and Grou are a short distance away. You won’t get bored here easily.
In search of a berth?
Marina de Horne in Terherne has 50 berths for fixed berth holders and 10 berths for passers-by. In addition, we also provide a winter storage and maintenance.
Marina facilities
Our marina contains all the facilities you would expect in a modern marina. Think of electricity and water on the jetties, washing machine, dryer, petrol station and a heated sanitary building with toilet and showers. In addition, there are ample parking spaces and there is Wi-Fi access throughout the port. The centre of Terherne with its neighbourhood supermarket, playing facilities (the Chameleon Village!), discotheque, pubs and cozy restaurants is within walking distance.
